Webroot strikes deal with The Email Laundry

The partnership between the two will see Email Laundry use Webroot's services
An Irish email filtering firm, The Email Laundry, has struck a deal with the first internet security service, announcing a partnership.
The Email Laundry and OEM Webroot will enter into a partnership that will see Email Laundry’s install base offered to Webroot’s web security service as part of an expanded range of services their resellers can offer to customers.
Employee misuse
The Email Laundry says it has experienced a demand for a web service offering recently, citing increased web threats and employee misuse of social networking sites as reasons.
“We are confident that with Webroot Web Security Service that we are offering our customers the strongest web protection service on the market," said Ken Bagnall, managing director of The Email Laundry.
Bagnall said the range of functions included in the Webroot Service as a Standard (SaaS), as well as the high level of protection it provided impressed them.
Webroot recently expanded its European presence with the opening of its international headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
