Shannon tech firm wins €21m US Navy contract

Co Clare technology company Bustec Ltd is to supply the US Navy with data capture and testing equipment after securing a €21m contract from Lockheed Martin.

The company now hopes to create 40 more jobs, adding to its staff of 18 employees.

Ennis-based IT Providers in CRM deal with Sage

Tech firm IT Providers, which serves an installed base of 1,000 licensed users in 600 locations, has implemented SalesLogix CRM from Sage to manage and report on the company’s many end-user support agreements.

SalesLogix will give companies a 360-degree view of their customer relationships. It also helps manage sales pipelines, deliver effective marketing campaigns and better customer service and support.

IT Providers is based in Ennis, Co Clare, and employs eight people. The company was adopting a more structured approach to new business development and found SalesLogix the ideal solution for the company.
