An Post is aiming to change the face of direct mail in Ireland, with the upcoming launch of a new direct mail service for businesses called Admailer.ie.

The postal service will be targeting the new direct mail product at small businesses, especially new start-ups, that are contacting both potential and existing customers via direct mail campaigns.

According to An Post, Admailer will be a hand-designed postcard that businesses will be able to post to up to 10,000 addresses at a cost of 54 cent for each postcard. It said the product has been 18 months in development.

An Post previewed the new direct mail service at its small business conference in Croke Park, Dublin, today.

Amie Peters, head of direct mail at An Post, said Admailer has been tailored to help deliver more customers to small businesses.

An Post is set to roll out Admailer.ie over the coming week. It is also organising events around Ireland in November whereby companies will be able to try out the product.
