Wireless broadband and cloud services provider AirSpeed has reported a turnover in excess of €10m for 2012, up 40pc on the €7.2m reported the previous year.

Last year saw the launch of three new managed services products, as well the addition of a new Dublin fibre ring to its national network, allowing companies based in Dublin to use licensed wireless in their enterprise networks at Gigabit speed.

Managing director Liam O’Kelly attributed the company’s growth in recent years to constant innovation and attention to network quality and customer service.

“We have been consistently responsive to customer requirements and this has led to the growth of the business by 40pc a year over the past few years.

“Our customers are demanding more functionality and services with their telecommunications infrastructure so we have introduced a range of new services, such as SIP voice, our advanced Fortinet security suite to support cloud and private enterprise networks and a managed IP platform for integrated voice, data and multimedia.

“Our focus has always been and will continue to evolve around value for our customers. This will increasingly involve integrating licensed wireless and fibre-based technologies to deliver a full suite of high-speed, premium quality managed services,” O’Kelly said.
