Twitter to move execs overseas, one to go to Dublin

12 Jul 2013

Twitter is moving three of its executives out of its San Franciso, California, headquarters to the microblogging site’s other locations around the globe, including Dublin.

In a likely effort to expand its international presence and leadership, as well as accustom its US-based executives for expanded roles within the company, Twitter is moving director of sales Ali Jafari to its Dublin office, AllThingsD reported. The other two executives are bound for Asia and elsewhere in Europe.

In Dublin, Jafari will take on the role of vice-president of direct sales for Europe and joins director of mid-market sales Stephen McIntyre in the Irish capital.

The other Twitter executives to be packing their bags for overseas offices include vice-president of international growth Katie Jacobs Stanton, who may be heading to Paris, according to AllThingsD.

Twitter’s vice-president of international sales Shailesh Rao will head to Singapore, to lead direct sales for the Asia-Pacific, Latin America and emerging market regions.
