1,500 firms to be upskilled in technology during Fingal Enterprise Week

Up to 1,500 businesses will have the opportunity to be upskilled in the latest technologies as part of Fingal Enterprise Week between 30 September and 4 October.

Organised and coordinated by Fingal County Enterprise Board, more than 20 business events, workshops, mentoring clinics and networking opportunities will be offered to more than 1,500 businesses from across the region during the week.

Focusing on helping small business owners engage with technology and ultimately use it to work smarter, the series of masterclasses will include an online masterclass with e-commerce giants PayPal and eBay on online systems, countering fraud and future trends in payments.

A mobile technology masterclass will bring businesses up to speed with the latest developments and capabilities in mobile.

A series of social media masterclasses will focus on how SMEs and microenterprises can integrate Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook into their businesses to develop new opportunities.
