Cloud storage company Dropbox is expanding its reach across the globe with the establishment of a new office and jobs in Sydney, Australia.

“From our home in San Francisco, we started by opening offices in Dublin, Austin, and New York — but until now, we hadn’t made a home in Asia-Pacific. Today, we’re happy to announce that we’re establishing a new office in Sydney, Australia,” the company revealed in a blog post.

Dropbox added it is hiring to fill roles in sales, user operations and other areas.

The company also said it is focusing on expanding its Dropbox for Business product Down Under, as well as making Dropbox a part of users’ work and personal lives.

“We’re eager to be neighbours with Australian companies already using Dropbox for Business, like Atlassian, Macquarie Group, and Mirvac. We also can’t wait to be a part of Sydney’s vibrant culture and booming tech scene,” the blog post said.
