Digital Hub Development Agency welcomes eight new companies to The Digital Hub

Eight new companies have joined the Digital Hub enterprise cluster in Dublin and are expected to create 30 new jobs by the end of 2014. Six of these companies are based outside of Ireland.

The eight companies have been part of the Digital Hub since the beginning of this year and join more than 70 digital companies already operating at the hub.

“We were delighted to welcome eight new companies in recent months. Their decision to join the enterprise cluster here is indicative of the ongoing growth and development of the project,” said Edel Flynn, chief executive officer at The Digital Hub.

“There are now over 900 people working out of companies based at The Digital Hub, and we anticipate the further growth of these companies by the end of this year.”

The eight new companies joining The Digital Hub include:

Eventbrite, headquartered in San Francisco, California, enables people all over the world to plan, promote, and sell out any event.

Starting Dot, a new registry business founded in Paris, is developing a portfolio of top-level domain names for major sectors.

e-Cab, a French company and taxi application, allows customers to order taxis online in just two clicks.

Scaboodle is an event collaboration solution from Northern Ireland for creating and managing events of any size.

VSWare is an Irish design-led, cloud and mobile-based school administration platform.

KeyedIn Solutions, a cloud technology company with headquarters in the USA, helps customers engage in cloud and mobile-based business solutions and technologies.

SoftPotential, an Irish software company, focuses on cloud-oriented software for the healthcare, financial services, and document and collaboration markets.

Telic Studios Limited is a British global multimedia group working on studio and digital production.
