Pinterest reveals new analytics tool for businesses

26 Aug 2014

Business users of online scrapbook Pinterest can now grain greater insight into what interests their customers with the help of a new version of the Pinterest Analytics tool.

Pinterest Analytics lets users see their most repinned (or shared) pins and the number of times a piece of content has been repinned.

“See what people love most from your Pinterest profile and website, and how much traffic your site gets when you add the Pin It button,” wrote Pinterest product manager Jason Costa on the Pinterest for Business blog.

“Explore new metrics about the people who engage with your business and what else they’re into. See your audience’s most common interests and what other businesses they follow, then tailor what Pins you add based on that.”

The new analytics tool also provides users with advice on how to increase impressions, clicks and repins so they can refine their Pinterest strategy and reach more people, Costa added.

Pinterest users with a business account can see the new analytics at analytics.pinterest.com or on their Pinterest profile.
