9 Jan 2015

Two Sage business partners Advent Processing Solutions and ADP Business Solutions are to merge, resulting in a new company that will have more than €2m in annual sales revenue.

The new company will be known as Envisage Cloud and it will employ 20 people.

Envisage Cloud will serve over 500 Sage customers across Ireland.

“The merger represents a significant increase in the scale and breadth of our business,” explained Envisage Cloud managing director Peter Bergin.

“It is an important step in our ambition to offer our customers complete, scalable and flexible solutions.  We previously had very similar business models serving complementary market segments.

“Now with technical expertise to offer customers the option of cloud software with Sage 200 Online, businesses can gain online access to critical information securely from anywhere.”

The company also develops custom software to reflect customer/industry specific needs such as Easydd, a direct debits module and Connections a middleware application that connects EPOS Point of Sale software to Sage 50/200 for retail franchise organisations.

“This merger is an ideal situation for everyone involved,” said Ray Ryan, director, Envisage Cloud.

“It significantly enhances our competitiveness in the marketplace for small and medium sized businesses using Sage 50 or Sage 200 or Sage CRM applications.”
