Tango Telecom opens Dubai office

Limerick-based charging and messaging services company Tango Telecom has opened a sales office in Dubai to drive sales growth in the Middle East, Africa and India.

The strategic opening of the Dubai office reflects the growing success experienced by Tango Telecom in this market, with major contracts already secured with several operators within the Zain Group and Qtel, the company said.

"The opening of our regional office in Dubai is in recognition of long-term growth potential in this region for Tango Telecom's charging and messaging solutions," said Richard Choi, vice-president of sales and marketing, Tango Telecom.

"Following on from our success with operators such the Zain Group, we are experiencing increasing demand for our messaging and charging solutions, specifically our mobile-data charging solutions for GSM and CDMA networks and our advanced-SMS value-added solutions."

Tango Telecom delivers services to more than 160 million subscribers worldwide through partnerships with operators such as Indosat, América Móvil, Iusacell, Vodafone, Mobitel, Qtel and the Zain Group.
