Griffith College, the largest independent third level institution in Ireland, provides level 6, 7 and 8 qualifications on the CAO, which are all on the National Framework of
Qualifications (NFQ) and recognised both nationally and internationally. Courses in the areas of computing, business, law, hospitality, Journalism & media, photography, interior & fashion design, Music and Drama and a wide array of short-courses are all on offer. Griffith College has campuses in Dublin, Limerick and Cork and strong overseas links, with the BA in fashion design carrying a special attraction combining three years of education in Dublin with the option of a fourth year in Griffith’s partner institution in Milan. The College has also extended its offering with the launch of three new Springboard courses in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority. A Higher Diploma in Computing, a Certificate in Computing Science and a Special Purpose Award in SME Management can now be under taken at Griffith College by unemployed graduates looking to return to education while keeping social welfare benefits.
