Alarm Control 24 to create 60 Dublin jobs
Irish-owned security and alarm company Alarm Control 24 is to create 60 new jobs in Dublin after investing €3m in its 'radio telemetry network'.
The network is a form of alarm technology which is resistant to GSM blocking technology, which criminals use when they break into homes or businesses. That block prevents an alarm-monitoring company from knowing about the break-in and thus contacting gardaí.
Alarm Control 24, which was established three years ago, already employs 22 people.
Thirty positions will be created in the first two years of Alarm Control 24's expansion, while a further 20-30 jobs are to come from plans for another expansion in 2014.
