Tegral reveals 30 jobs for Athy, Co Kildare

25 Jul 2013

Building materials and systems company Tegral is creating 30 jobs on the back of a €7.4m investment into its manufacturing plant in Athy, Co Kildare.

Ten jobs are already in place and the remaining 20 roles will be created in November.

Ninety-two employees make up Tegral’s current workforce.

The investment will be spent on machinery for Tegral. Some €2.1m will be spent immediately on new machinery and €5.3m will go toward existing machinery and infrastructure over the next three years, the company said in a statement.

The investment follows a successful tender by Tegral to supply fibre cement roof slates for the UK market.
