Medical software player Oneview to create 20 new jobs

9 Dec 2013

Having created 12 new jobs in 2013, Dublin-based Oneview Healthcare is to create a further 20 new jobs in 2014 with the majority of the new jobs located in San Francisco and the New York tri-state area.

The company’s new 5,200 sq-foot HQ in Blackrock, Dublin, boasts a state-of-the-art demo room to showcase the company’s healthcare solution.

The Oneview system seamlessly integrates a hospital’s various IT systems into one platform.

It provides point-of-care access to those systems, as well as education, entertainment and interactive patient care services, on bedside terminal, TV, tablet and smartphone.

As a result of a strong new business pipeline, Oneview Healthcare has doubled its software development and design team to 12 since June. In January 2013, the company recruited former Deutsche Bank senior executive James Fitter as chief executive officer.

The senior management team continued to grow throughout the year with the appointment of a chief operating officer, a global head of implementation and a chief financial officer.

Global growth

General managers have been appointed in Dubai, to service the growing MENA market, and to Australia and New Zealand, where earlier this year Oneview Healthcare was awarded the contract to provide patient engagement and point-of-care solutions to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

“This is a time of enormous opportunity for Oneview Healthcare as we experience a very positive response from the market,” said Mark McCloskey, president and founder of Oneview.

“We are determined to have the very best team in place to ensure that we continue to exceed the expectations of our customers and partners, and continue to grow Oneview to a position of global leadership in the patient engagement industry,” McCloskey said.
