Dropbox counts U2’s Bono and The Edge among its investors and was recently reported to be gunning for an US$8bn valuation. The decision to locate its international headquarters in Dublin was announced this time last year, bringing the company to the country that has since been named by Forbes as the best place in the world to do business.
Since December 2012, Dropbox has been building a team of experienced technology executives, as well as recent graduates capable of bringing the culture of the head office in San Francisco, California, to the new operation in Dublin.
Morehouse explains how every new hire at the Dublin office will be shipped off to San Francisco for awhile to learn the ropes there.
