Tech careers are the future (infographic)

Employment in tech will jump by up to 37pc by 2022 and a degree in a technology subject can lead to a higher salary, a new infographic suggests.

The infographic by DeVry University published on Visual.ly echoes the news in the infographic we published yesterday that states computer-related jobs are expected to increase 22pc by 2020.

This new infographic begins by listing the median annual pay for key tech careers, with information security analysts earning the most at US$86,170.

The infographic then breaks down specific areas in tech, outlines specialities within that area, and forecasts growth in that area.

For example, an individual with a degree in web and multimedia design and development could work in animation, curriculum training, multimedia publishing or web game programming, and employment for web developers is expected to rise 20pc by 2022.
