27 Jun 2014

Unified communications and networking company PlanNet21 is to create 20 new jobs in Ireland. The company has operations in Dublin, Galway and Cork, as well as the UK, US and France.

Founded in 1998, PlanNet21 has grown from a start-up to a global operation, with customers in Europe, the US and the Asia-Pacific region.

The company deploys unified comms, data centre, wireless mobility, virtualisation and networking services on behalf of various OEMs, including Dell, Cisco, NetApp, Polycom, VMware, Zendesk, and Palo Alto Networks.

“We expanded global operations into the US in 2013,” said Denise Tormey, president and co-founder of PlanNet21.

“Our presence in the Bay Area (of San Francisco, California) uniquely positions us to enable multinational organisations to expand and establish in Europe.

“PlanNet21 was an integral strategic partner to Zendesk when it initially established its EU data centre and development centre in Ireland,” Tormey added.
