Dublin-based electricity provider Pinergy is to create 46 new jobs in Tipperary and Limerick.

The new roles will include positions in field sales, outbound telesales, and business development, Pinergy CEO Enda Gunnell told Newstalk.

A full jobs announcement is expected this afternoon from Environment Minister Alan Kelly, alongside rugby international star Paul O’Connell, who owns part of the company.

Pinergy is an Irish company that provides pay-as-you-go electricity options.
