Puppet Labs’ Northern Ireland operation will work alongside its US-based engineering teams to continue to develop the core product, Puppet Enterprise.

Its software is used by more than 20,000 organisations worldwide, including many major companies such as Cisco, CERN, Salesforce.com, Twitter and the London Stock Exchange.

“Puppet Labs has been growing rapidly as IT automation is critical for any company that uses technology to compete,” explained Puppet Labs’ CEO Luke Kanies.

“This new center will expand our engineering capacity to support our plans for growth, particularly in the European and Middle Eastern markets.

“Northern Ireland has strong software engineering talent and offers quality and cost advantages to support our growth.  We are also looking forward to working closely with Invest NI to continue to develop the thriving software industry in Northern Ireland.”
