Tech Jobs 2014 – Top 50 jobs announcements of 2014: Nos 15-11

Today we continue our countdown of Ireland’s top tech jobs announcement stories of 2014, from start-ups to multinational companies.

It has been a year that has reflected expansions, investments and sectors that are thriving in Ireland, such as online and pharmaceuticals.

Community-driven hospitality e-commerce site Airbnb, for example, announced 100 news jobs in Dublin, and pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly, which has four Irish operations, in Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Kinsale, Co Cork, revealed it was to also create 100 jobs in Ireland.

	14 – Jazz Pharmaceuticals to create 210 jobs in Co Westmeath US biopharmaceutical company Jazz Pharmaceuticals is to create 160 construction jobs and 50 full-time jobs with the set up of a new plant outside Athlone, Co Westmeath.
	13 – 150 new jobs as HedgeServ chooses Cork for second Irish operation Global hedge fund administrator HedgeServ is to create 150 new jobs in Cork, bringing the headcount at its Cork operation to more than 200 in the coming years.
	12 – AdRoll to create 100 new jobs in Dublin office AdRoll, one of the world’s largest adoptive advert retargeting platforms, has launched new offices in Dublin today and plans to expand its European operations by doubling its office space and hiring 100 additional staff.
	11 – Yelp to create 100 new jobs in Dublin at new European HQ San Francisco-headquartered local business directory player Yelp Inc is to open a new European headquarters in Dublin that will initially generate 100 new jobs.
