Irish open-source software company Enovation, which specialises in enterprise content management, has forged a partnership with US content management player Alfresco, which manages more than 4bn files and documents in the cloud and on mobile devices.

Described by Gartner as a visionary, Alfresco supports more than 7m users in 75 countries.

Dublin-based Enovation has built e-learning, web content management and document management solutions for organisations of all sizes based on technology from Alfresco, Drupal and Moodle.

“Enovation has extensive experience in implementing Alfresco as an open-source collaboration solution for clients,” Enovation managing director Mary Hourigan explained.

“The partnership endorses our commitment to Alfresco, as the business-critical content platform offering value and business agility, which is essential in information-intensive businesses.

“Now as an Alfresco partner, we look forward to increasing our Alfresco knowledge and thereby enhancing our capability to customise, integrate, migrate and implement Alfresco within organisations, leveraging our years of experience of large-scale project delivery,” Hourigan added.
