Panasonic and Blueface to drive SME internet phone adoption

Technology giant Panasonic has joined forces with local VoIP player Blueface to deploy the Panasonic KX-TGP 500 wireless SIP phone system with SMEs.

The phone system includes internet HD VoIP calls, business phone functionality and web-based administration.

The system, which costs €99 to buy, is being targeted at SMEs, sole traders and SOHO workers. Firms that invest in one will get a second one free.

“This initiative is an indicator of Panasonic’s development in the provision of telecommunications solutions and Blueface, which is a forward-looking innovative telecommunications company, provide an ideal partner for us,” said Bob Mercer, area sales manager at Panasonic.
