Remember that annoying press conference where Steve not only had to address antenna issues but then was forced to announced a second delay on the white iPhone 4? Well, another delay looks certain.

Availability of the white iPhone 4 was originally postponed to the end of July due to production issues and then until the end of September, but the Orange network in the UK says that it will be the end of 2010 so it look as though it will be a white Christmas after all.

"We wanted to let you know that there won't be any white iPhone 4's in the UK until the end of the year," Orange told customers by email.

Well this is strange indeed. Steve has promised us the white version of the iPhone 4 at the end of September while Orange is saying Christmas time. And MicGadget.com shows leaked video and images of the white handset so it's clearly being made.

Whenever it arrives two things are clear: first, there must be a shortage of the colour white at Apple, and second, it's the exact same phone, just in white. It's not going to change your life.
