iPhone DST alarm bug causes European owners to sleep in

A Daylight Savings Time iPhone bug has hit European owners of the handset, making iPhone alarms go off an hour later than usual.

Twitter users have said that even when the clock on their iOS device changed, the alarm did not, causing many iPhone owners in Europe to sleep in.

This bug affected owners of the phone in Australia last month, where, when their iPhones’ clocks changed from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time, the alarm didn’t.

Apple previously said it would fix this bug, but apparently, it has not been remedied entirely.

Users can sort this out by creating a new alarm or editing the existing one to go off an hour earlier.
