iPhone 4S out today in Ireland, with Siri included

The iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S has been released today on all mobile networks in Ireland and includes voice-recognition system Siri.

The phone went on sale in Ireland this morning and at the time of writing, it appears to be sold out on a number of operators.

Three is offering the iPhone 4S from free on bill pay for the 16GB and 32GB models. It costs from €139 for the 64GB model on bill pay. On prepay, the phone is €579 for the 16GB model, €669 for the 32GB model and €779 for the 64GB model.

On O2, the iPhone 4S costs from €99 on bill pay. On prepay, the 16GB model costs €579, the 32GB model costs €679 and the 64GB model costs €779.

Vodafone is offering the phone from €49 on bill pay.

eMobile’s iPhone 4S is from free on bill pay for the 16GB and 32GB models and the 64GB model will cost from €49 on bill pay.

On Meteor, the iPhone 4S is from free on bill pay for the 16GB and 32GB models and the 64GB model costs €99.

The SIM-free iPhone 4S is also available, costing from €599.

Siri is also included on the iPhone 4S in Ireland. There was confusion previously as to whether Siri would be on the device in Ireland, however, Apple later confirmed that it would be on the iPhone 4S in every country, only configured to UK, US and Australian English, as well as French and German.
