The second Windows Phone smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia Lumia 710, has begun to hit store shelves, less than a month after the release of the Nokia Lumia 800.

The Nokia Lumia 710 now on sale in Taiwan. This coming week, it will go on sale in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Russia, and will continue its global roll out over the coming weeks.

This smartphone has been designed to be accessible to more people worldwide, combining the social and internet experience of Windows Phone with the ability to take pictures in almost any conditions and share them with friends in seconds, Nokia said. The handset also includes access to thousands of apps, including exclusive Nokia services.

Based on the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango release, the Nokia Lumia 710 smartphone can be personalised with several colours, including white and black front finish, and a choice of five inter-changeable back covers sold separately.

The Nokia Lumia 710 will sell for €270, excluding taxes and subsidies, and will be available via operator partners, retailers and open channels, depending on local situation.
