Netflix arrives on Windows Phone in UK, Ireland

Netflix is making its Windows Phone app available internationally, allowing members in the UK, Ireland and Latin America to stream TV shows and films from their Windows Phones.

The Netflix app has been available on Windows Phone in the US and Canada since November 2010 but has now been released internationally.

The app lets users watch Netflix’s range of TV shows and movies through mobile data or Wi-Fi connections on their Windows Phones. Users can also select alternative audio tracks or subtitles for their videos.

Netflix launched in the UK and Ireland in January this year for numerous devices, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, games consoles, PCs, Macs and internet-connected TVs. It offers content at a monthly price of €6.99 in Ireland and stg£5.99 in the UK.

The Netflix app for Windows Phone is available on the Windows Phone Marketplace from today.
