Pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III faces delays

29 May 2012

Samsung has issued a statement saying the new Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, released yesterday, will face a delay of two to three weeks in some regions.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is perhaps the most anticipated smartphone release since the first iPhone, but some consumers will have to wait just a bit longer for the highly coveted device.

Citing a commitment to quality and standards, Samsung has stated that some regions will see a delay of the pebble blue-coloured model of up to three weeks.

“Samsung’s Galaxy S III pebble blue version comes with a newly invented blue colour and special hyper-glaze material,” read the statement. “In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality Galaxy S III to customers, a short supply of pebble blue version is expected in some regions in the next two to three weeks.”

Samsung is working hard to ensure customers will get the blue-coloured handset as soon as possible, but, in the meantime, the marble white version is still available.
