The Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia introduced us to its exciting new Windows Phone 8 smartphones earlier this week, but left everyone in the dark with regard to pricing and a launch date. However, sources in Europe now claim they will go on sale in November.

The Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 were unveiled at a press event on Thursday, but with reporters saying they could barely get their hands on the devices rumours have started flying that Windows Phone 8 is simply not ready.

Microsoft’s computer operating system, Windows 8, is due to hit the market on 26 October, but the launch of Windows Phone 8 is still a mystery, even though manufacturers have already begun announcing smartphones using this OS, like Nokia and Samsung.

However, Reuters reports that the Lumia 920 will go on sale across Europe at various stages in November, according to Eastern European and Nordic telecom operators.
