Huawei’s latest entry-level smartphone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now available in Ireland from operators Meteor and eMobile.

The Ascend G330 follows the Ascend G300 launched in Ireland this summer, both of which come from Huawei’s G-series of easy-to-use, affordable smartphones to entice new users.

The smartphone features a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 4GB storage and 512MB RAM, powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The phone also comes with a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,500mAh battery.

The interface is Huawei’s own HAP 5.1 for Android, which allows for one-step navigation to call, messaging and camera apps from the lock screen.

The Huawei Ascend G330 is available from free on bill-pay or €149.99 on Meteor pre-pay and €149 on eMobile pre-pay.
