Visitors to the natural beauty attraction the Cliffs of Moher can now avail of free Wi-Fi at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience, as well as a free app to guide them around the Co Clare centre.

Free Wi-Fi has been installed throughout the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience at the main viewing areas and in the concourse outside the centre.

To help visitors make their way around the centre is the Cliffs of Moher Audio Guide App, which provides users with a 12-stop on-site tour. Each of the stops on the audio guide is marked on-site.

Cliffs director Katherine Webster said the free Wi-Fi and app will enhance visitors’ experience at the Cliffs of Moher.

“The launch of the app coincides with the introduction of a new exhibition at O’Brien’s Tower featuring the builder of the landmark tower, 19th-century landlord Cornelius O’Brien, as well as the wildlife and natural environment around the cliffs,” she said.

The Cliffs of Moher Audio Guide App can be downloaded for free from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and from Google Play for Android devices.

The app is the result of a collaboration between the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience and Lahinch, Co Clare, native Matthew Kelly.
