Xbox One’s world tour coming to Dublin 14-17 November

1 Oct 2013

October marks the beginning of Xbox One’s introductory world tour, starting in the US and arriving in Dublin in November.

Xbox One launches 22 November but, before then, fans will be offered the chance to eye up and try out the next-generation Microsoft console at select locations in the US, Canada and Europe.

In all, Xbox One will be visiting 75 cities, along with a line-up of blockbuster games, including Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Kinect Sports Rivals, Crimson Dragon, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood, Zoo Tycoon, Minecraft and more.

The Area One tour is free to attend but spaces will be limited so giddy gamers are advised to arrive early. You also have to be at least 18 years old to gain entry. The Dublin location has not yet been disclosed, but likely visitors are advised to keep checking the Xbox One Tour page for further details.

Additional Test Drive events will give gamers the chance to play in unusual environments. Xbox’s custom Test Drive trucks will be roaming the streets at more than 175 locations in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany and France, popping up at festivals, on university campuses and in retail centres looking for gamers to take for a ride.

Xbox One will also make an appearance at Milan Games Week, Paris Games Week and Madrid Games Week.
