Sony Pictures has bought the rights to adapt Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s best-selling book, Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, to the big screen.

Sandberg’s Lean In Foundation licensed the book to Sony Pictures, and Sandberg will donate her portion of proceeds from the deal to the foundation, The Examiner reported.

The film version of Lean In will reportedly be fictional and feature themes covered in the book, such as gender disparity at work. Sandberg won’t play a character in the film.

Nell Scovell, who helped the write the book about career advancement for women, has been hired to create a script. No other details about the film have been released yet.

Sony Pictures is the company that produced The Social Network, the film released in 2010 about Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which went on to win an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, which was published in March last year, sold 140,000 copies its first week of release.
