Internet search giant Google is like an instant encyclopedia, enabling users to look up and receive information on just about any topic. And some users look up some pretty weird s**t, according to a new infographic.

Search engine optimisation and search engine marketing firm Search Factory got to work and published an infographic on Visual.ly highlighting the average monthly search volume for some random search queries.

‘How to get away with murder’ pulled in an average of 1,900 monthly searches and the related ‘How to hide a dead boy’ resulted in an average of 1,000 searches a month.

Dating – both human and non-human – are also subjects of searches, with ‘cat dating’ amassing 110 monthly searches on average, and ‘How to ask a guy out’ pulling 14,800 monthly searches, on average.

The search term ‘How do I Google something?’ even managed to reap an average of 4,400 searches per month.
