Liam Casey’s PCH launches online store for digital lifestyle products

PCH International has created an online marketplace called The Blueprint for well-designed technology and which tells the story behind each product.

PCH International, which manages the product development and supply chain for some of the world’s best known tech brands, recently secured a breakthrough deal with RadioShack to bring PCH Access companies’ products to 2,000 RadioShack stores on special terms.

Earlier this year, PCH acquired ShopLocket, a Toronto-based e-commerce platform which offers hardware start-ups an entrepreneur-friendly marketplace in which to launch their products.

The Blueprint will be headed by ShopLocket co-founder Katherine Hague.

“Every product on The Blueprint will be tested in the real world by the site’s team located in NYC, Toronto and San Francisco,” Hague said.

“The Blueprint is for everyday consumers who crave well-designed, quality tech products.

“The experience will be content-rich with videos, beautiful imagery, and much more. We will start with a few products and build to have a comprehensive collection spanning multiple categories of tech goods.”

Can retail keep up with advances in technology?

PCH International, headed by Corkman Liam Casey, works with major technology companies, including Apple and Beats, to organise the design, supply chain and logistics of consumer electronics products.

PCH International realised that while consumer technology is rapidly innovating, most retail channels aren’t.

The aim is to deliver one of the most powerful online retail experiences for a new wave of tech consumer products.

“We are creating a marketplace for today’s best tech products and innovative companies. The Blueprint is part of our strategy to open up new, start-up-friendly channels to start-ups and to get new products to market,” Casey explained.
