25 Sep 2014

Since big phones are all the rage and since Google’s Android is on more than 80pc of smartphones worldwide, it is only fitting that Google is planning its own phablet, the Nexus 6.

The forthcoming device, which may yet be renamed the Nexus X, will have a 5.92-inch display and a screen that has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 (498 pixels per inch).

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 quad core processor and it will have a 13-megapixel camera compared with the iPhone 6 Plus’ 8-megapixel camera.

According to 9to5Google, which describes the product as an upscaled Moto X, the phone will be powered by a 3,200 mAh battery.
