YouSendIt upgrades cloud for Mac, iOS and Android

13 Dec 2011

YouSendIt, that clever online service that has gotten many people out of sticky situations when it comes to sending large data files, has advanced its cloud offering to include iOS and Android apps.

In addition, the new offering includes encryption technology so users can now digitally sign for documents wherever they are, whether they are in the office or on the road.

Starting today, new mobile applications are available for iPad and Android, as well as a desktop application for Mac in beta. In addition, YouSendIt is delivering updated iPhone and Windows desktop apps.

“The evolving work life of today’s professional is at the centre of our thinking when we create new products,” said Brian Curry, vice-president, product and business strategy, YouSendIt.

“Our goal is to make using YouSendIt simple and ubiquitous. Users don’t have time to learn new methods and practices in order to manage or share their files and documents. This latest release allows access to secure sharing and syncing of files everywhere our customers work,” Curry said.
