Customer communications software provider VoiceSage is investing more than €100,000 in a new graphical interface for its technology platform. The company has awarded the contract to Cork firm Granite Digital.

VoiceSage, which has offices in Dublin and London, enables automated real-time customer communications. Last year, the company embarked on a €1m R&D investment plan that created 10 new jobs.

VoiceSage’s messaging product and services deliver more than 2m messages a day and are used by businesses serving more than 75pc of the UK population.

Companies that have deployed VoiceSage’s technology to target their customer communications include Airtricity, Argos, Homebase, Littlewoods, QVC and Eircom.

Web design and application development specialist Granite Digital has been awarded the contract to undertake the redesign of the new product interface.

Granite Digital’s team of designers and front-end developers specialise in web application development and design.

The company’s expertise has helped businesses such as Blarney Woollen Mills achieve aggressive growth in terms of both visitor numbers and sales, with a 50pc year-on-year sales increase.

The VoiceSage project will take close to six months to deliver.

Featuring the latest in front-end technologies, the interface will be built using Google’s AngularJS.
