Due to the increased demand for this topic, KPMG has decided to run the seminar on two consecutive dates. While covering essentially the same subjects, the first session on 7 June will have a slight financial services focus and the second session on 8 June will have a corporate focus. The sessions will provide an overview of the new currently effective developments; future standards issued by the IASB effective in 2013 and a summary of new proposals for Irish GAAP. Items covered will include: (i) IFRS 10 consolidated financial statements; (ii) IFRS 11 joint arrangements; (iii) IFRS 12 disclosure of interests in other entities; (iv) IFRS 13 fair value measurement; (v) Amendments to IAS 19, IAS 1 and IFRS 7; and (vi) Overview of Irish GAAP proposals.
