An industry half-day in UCD in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, IBEC and KARIM, for Irish SMEs to hear about a European funding grant called EuroStars and support available. Five facts about EuroStars: 1. EuroStars supports SME research and product development by providing easy access to support and funding. 2. Only small consortia are required - a minimum of two companies in two different EuroStars member countries. 3. Funding at 50pc grant rate up to a maximum of €450,000 for SMEs. Additional support of up to €250,000 for Irish university participation. 5. Irish success rate is about 26pc.
