World Social Media Day - Cork

World Social Media Day recognises the digital revolution happening right before our eyes. The day will feature a range of workshops, speakers and open discussions mixed with music and entertainment for all the family. Speakers at this free event include Bill Liao, co-founder of CoderDojo; Pat Phelan, MAXROAM; Lisa Domican, inventor of the Grace App; food author Lilly Higgins, and many more. Workshops will be personal and inviting to people of all skill levels, covering various aspects of blogging, social networking and photography. The day’s events will be diverse so all ages will find something to catch their interest. A Tweet-Up will take place at 7:30pm in the Bowery, Tuckey Street, Cork, with complementary food and drink – all are welcome to attend.
