Science Gallery in Dublin to explore superfoods

Food writer Lily Higgins will be at the Science Gallery in Dublin this evening to serve up a menu all about superfoods as part of the gallery’s Curated Dinner series during its Edible exhibition, which is finishing up this week.

As part of its exhibition, which has been exploring the future of food, the Science Gallery has been running live curated dinners whereby the public tries out food in the interactive gallery and explores themes such as food and location, flavour perception and biodiversity.

The supper club at the Science Gallery is the brainchild of Heather Julius from the Special Snowflake Supper Club in the US. Guests sit at an interactive swerve-shaped table to sample the food that’s created in front of them in the Science Gallery, which is based on the Trinity College Dublin campus.

Tonight Lily Higgins, the author of Make, Bake, Love, and the sister of Irish comedienne Maeve Higgins, will be exploring superfood themes, such as the antioxidant powers of blueberry, the protein strength of quinoa and the nuttiness of the chia seed.
