Rihanna has overtaken fellow pop star Lady Gaga and US President Barack Obama in terms of the number of Facebook fans. However, it is a close run between Rihanna and Lady Gaga, with roughly 22,000 fans as the difference.
At the time of writing, Rihanna had 40,568,824 Facebook fans while Lady Gaga had 40,546,214 fans.
But Rihanna and Lady Gaga better keep an eye out, because pop star Justin Bieber is not too far behind, with an impressive 32,980,498 liking his page. Singer Justin Timberlake has a respectable following of 11,146,591 fans on Facebook.
Obama had 22,029, 520 fans while actor Charlie Sheen has just 1,433,895 fans on Facebook (he needn’t worry, he’s ‘winning’ on Twitter with 4,399,726 followers).
Irish rock band U2 has 9,797,083 fans on Facebook.
