European airline Ryanair has developed a new web tool that allows passengers to retrieve future and historic booking information. It will help passengers who have misplaced flight reference numbers to access their flight details.
The new service, called ‘Flight Tracker’, was developed after research showed more than 50pc of Ryanair’s passengers flew on its low fares at least four times in the last 12 months while a third flew more than six times.
The new service, aimed at frequent flyers, allows passengers to track all flights within an 18-month period by simply entering any current or historic flight reference and the confirmation email address.
The service is available through ‘Manage my booking’ on Ryanair.com.
“With over a third of Ryanair passengers flying on our low-fare flights at least six times a year, we have developed a free service to allow passengers to keep track of their flights and to easily retrieve flight itinerary details,” Ryanair spokesman Stephen McNamara explained.
“The new service will allow passengers who have misplaced flight reference numbers to securely and easily access their booking information.”
