A mysterious new Easter egg has been discovered in Google Maps if you type in a search for directions from The Shire to Mordor.
No doubt excited at the prospect of another Lord of the Rings movie, The Hobbit, someone decided to lay this funny little egg.
Go to Google Maps and ‘Get Directions’. Put ‘The Shire’ in the ‘A’ field for directions to ‘Mordor’ in the ‘B’ field and you’ll get the following response:
“Use caution – one does not simply walk into Mordor’.
