Stay alive, win a prize, at Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon challenge

24 May 2012

Gamers are invited to join a Ghost Recon: Future Soldier tournament in Dublin this weekend to test their skills against the computer and win a prize if they stay alive.

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Xbox 360 Co-op Event takes place this Sunday in The Plaza Hotel, Tallaght, and, while some teams of four have already pre-registered for the event, anyone is welcome to turn up on the day to be put on a team.

In the age-old style of man vs machine, teams will be given 20 minutes of gameplay on the Xbox 360 against AI, playing in ‘Guerilla Mode’. The winners will be the team that manages to stay alive the longest.

The top prize is a €150 Xtra-vision voucher, a signature edition of the Tom Clancy game, a limited-edition figurine, a T-shirt and a Gioteck accessory. Runners-up will also receive a copy of the game and a T-shirt.

Spot prizes will also be awarded to players demonstrating particular skill throughout the day.

Although it’s not imperative, participants are encouraged to register their interest in attending online. You must be over 18 to play. Good luck!
