4 Jul 2012

Want to get the most out of Twitter? Then take a look at a new infographic which presents, in 140-character tweets, tips on how to milk the microblogging site.

The best practices in the infographic by NJI Media published on Visual.ly recommends Twitter users should share unique content, engage with other Twitter users, maintain visibility on the site, show their retweeters some love by following them, and be concise when it comes to tweet length and wording.

“Even with all of those tweeps populating the Twitterverse, some people need a little help figuring out whether to dip their toes in the water or jump right in and make a splash,” NJI Media said of creating the infographic.

In addition to tips, the infographic also offers facts about Twitter, such as 57pc of all retweets include a link, and the highest volume of retweets takes place between 3-7pm.
