Priorities USA Action, a Democratic group that backs US President Barack Obama, has issued a video attack on the US Republican businessman Mitt Romney to co-incide with his trip to London for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games that are due to start on Friday.
"We all cheer for Team America on the field of play, but Romney has put foreign investment ahead of American jobs," according to the group, which has called the video Romney's Gold.
In the video, Priorities USA Action fused images from the opening ceremony of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics that Romney ran.
Apparently he is credited with having saved that particular sporting event from bankruptcy.
The voiceover takes the form of a sportsperson who appears to have a sarcastic air, taking at potshot at companies Romney has headed, as well as his 'alleged' foreign investments.
A voiceover alleges that Romney outsourced jobs to China: "There's Mitt Romney, who ran the Salt Lake City Games, waving to China, home to a billion people. Thousands owe their jobs to Mitt Romney's companies."
Then, it moves on to India, claiming Romney also outsourced jobs there. It also claims Romney kept "millions" in Swiss bank accounts.
From there, the ad carries on to Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
"There's Bermuda, home to a secretive corporation set up by Romney. No one knows why and Romney won't tell. And the Cayman Islands where Romney keeps millions to avoid US taxes," continues the video's commentator.
But check it out for yourself ...
