The iPhone 5 (Spoof): A Taller Change Than Expected
Sick of having to scroll down through long documents? Well, thanks to Satire’s vision of the longest-ever iPhone, scrolling may become a thing of the past. The video parodies on the iPhone 5’s thinner but longer screen (something which has caused much amusement already in the tech community). “It’s 18pc thinner, and 795pc taller than the previous iPhone”.

Banned iPhone 5 Promo
Although the title may make this video seem like it was fit for release but pulled at the last minute, I can assure you Apple probably had absolutely nothing to do with it. Taking swipes at everything new in the iPhone 5, like the ‘panoramic’ feature which is ‘unlike any free app you could have downloaded three years ago’, the guys at ooJLEoo have a long history of parodying Apple products and have bested all previous efforts with this video.

The iPhone 5 is arguably the most-anticipated piece of technology this year and with the anticipation and rumours comes the parodies. Adam Sacks takes a light-hearted view of the iPhone 5 and pokes fun at Apple fanbois in the process. Amazingly, some people are having trouble seeing the joke.

First Look: iPhone 5
Oh dear. Apple fans are synonymous with accepting that the phone they have in their hands is the greatest piece of technology in the world. This video (from the hugely popular Jimmy Kimmel Live) goes one step further to prove that point. Telling fans they are holding the new iPhone 5 and asked to compare it to the old version, responses of “It’s way better”, “A lot lighter than the last one” and “Definitely faster” followed. The only problem? They were given the previous model, the iPhone 4S to test. #AppleFail

The Next Big Thing is Already Here – Samsung Galaxy S III
Oh, it’s on! Never one to back down from a fight with Apple, Samsung released its own video parodying Apple’s new launch, which went viral this week. Poking fun at all the things the latest iPhone still doesn’t have and the ridiculous queueing that people do to get one, Samsung has temporarily scored points in this one-upsmanship dual for now.
